Energy Engineering

Graduates in Energy Engineering, whose professional figure falls within industrial engineering in the energy sector, are technicians with a university education able to design, implement and manage small and medium plants and their components for the production, distribution and use of energy, as well as heating and cooling plants for both civil and industrial applications; moreover, he/she is able to operate in planning, dispatch and energy control sectors and to take on the role of the person in charge of energy in businesses and organisations which require such a figure. The laurea magistrale preparatory path aims at completing the basic training of students who wish to continue their studies, in order to be prepared for careers in the industry, but with an increased capacity in addressing the more complex and innovative issues. Electrical Engineering

The graduate in Electrical Engineering is awarded a Laurea (equivalent to Bachelor of Science) (Engineer) in the class of Industrial Engineering. He is a technician with a university education able to design, operate and maintain systems for the production, transmission and distribution and use of electricity, both with companies and institutions managing electrical systems for energy, and in the electromechanical industry and industrial automation. He/she may become a freelance professional after taking the State examination and registering in Section B of the Professional Order of Engineers of the province of residence. The laurea magistrale preparatory path aims at completing the basic training of students who wish to continue their studies, in order to be prepared for careers in the industry, but with increased responsibilities and an increased capacity in addressing the more complex and innovative issues.
