Modelling, integration and optimisation of an innovative process for the production and use of green hydrogen in steelmaking
The thesis will be developed within a research team involved in an international R&D project on green hydrogen for steelmaking.
The thesis focuses on the use of hydrogen from electrolysis to decarbonize steel production, with real case studies. The work aims at analyzing from an energetic and economic stand-point the integration of green hydrogen produced from renewable electricity into a modern steelmaking process.
