Propulsion and Combustion
The research activity focuses on the experimental investigation of thermofluidodynamic processes typical of energy and propulsion systems, flames, sprays by means of advanced optical techniques. Further research activities are the thermodynamic analysis of gas turbine cycles (regenerative combustion, intercooler, constant volume) and the study of hybrid propulsion systems.
