Specialised in the experimental, numerical and modelling study of the performance of safety valves in air and water.
The Safety Valve Testing Laboratory has been operational for over 20 years and is a world leader in the sector. The test facility is specifically dedicated to verifying the functional characteristics and discharge capacity of safety valves operating in air and water, under atmospheric backpressure or both imposed and generated backpressure. The lab is fully automated and managed by a specialist technician. Tests are normally carried out for both R&D activities and product certification (CE) in accordance with industry standards (ISO 4126). The laboratory can operate on two different test benches: in water or in air.
Services offered:
- Tests on safety and regulation valves in both water (max 70 l/s, 10 bar) and air (max 7 kg/s, 40 bar)
- Tests on other components of pneumatic systems (regulators, overflow, etc.).
Accreditations
The test section for safety valves operating in air is certified according to ISO 9001. Accreditation to UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025 is in progress.
