Closing of the 18th edition of the RIDEF 2.0 Specializing Master: training and innovation for the energy of the future since 2003

On September 26, 2025, the Closing Ceremony of the 18th edition of the Specializing Master “RIDEF 2.0 – Reinventing Energy. Renewables, Decentralization, Efficiency and Strong Sustainability” of the Department of Energy took place. The postgraduate training program is dedicated to energy, environmental issues, and climate protection.

With the awarding of the Specializing Master’s diploma to 16 students, the program comes to an end. It was characterized by multidisciplinary teaching activities and an internship completed at companies, organizations, and institutions within the energy and environmental sector.

Established in 2003, the RIDEF 2.0 Specializing Master has over the years prepared more than 500 professionals to face the challenges of the energy transition and to lead innovation in the sector, with a 95% placement rate. Collaborations with over 40 leading entrepreneurial, scientific, and institutional entities have allowed students to engage directly with the professional world already during their studies.

The program has attracted, over more than 20 years, talents eager to have an impact on the future of energy, who have acquired not only solid technical skills but also transversal skills essential for success in the ever-evolving energy landscape.

During the final ceremony, the graduated students celebrated their achievement, expressing great satisfaction for the journey just completed. These results confirm the commitment of our Department to training professionals capable of facing the energy and climate challenges of our time.
