Battery materials engineering (BMEL)

Applied physical chemistry of electrochemical energy storage systems and materials. This concern, on the one hand pushing our capabilities to fabricate functional materials for novel electrochemical electrical energy storage systems, and on the other hand gaining a molecular-level understanding of the processes underlying the operation and durability of the different components of batteries, including post-lithium and lithium chemistries.
