In the context of the evolving energy transition and the increasingly central role of the energy trilemma (environmental sustainability, security and equity) in both industrialised and emerging countries, the Integrated Energy Planning and Geopolitics Research Hub (IntEGRa) conducts advanced, multidisciplinary research using open-source tools to study different technological evolution pathways, adopting multi-sectoral and cross-sectoral approaches.
It analyses the impacts and economic and environmental implications of technological scenarios, investigates the global geopolitical effects of the energy transition and specifically explores the various supply chains for raw materials and the role and practices of Scientific Diplomacy.
Nel contesto internazionale in continua e rapida evoluzione, in cui l’informazione e conoscenza scientifica diventano intrinseche delle relazioni internazionali e scelte politiche, IntEGRa produce evidenze scientifici per informare i processi decisionali associati a politiche industriali e/o pubbliche. IntEGRA, attraverso i propri esperti, opera come advisor scientifico per diverse istituzioni e/o organismi interazionali.
