Professors Michela Longo and Alberto Dolara, lecturers at the Department of Energy of Politecnico di Milano, received the Special Session Organisers’ Award within the SMART 2024 – Third International Conference on Sustainable Mobility Applications, Renewables, and Technology, held in Dubai from 22 to 24 November 2024.

The award was presented for the significant contribution to the Conference through the organisation of the Special Session “Future of Electric Mobility: Solutions to Increase its Penetration” (Special Session LS11, November 22, 2024). The award was conferred by the Conference Organising Committee as proof of the scientific value and impact of the session’s content on the international scientific community.

SMART2024 is a landmark event in the field of sustainable mobility, renewable energy and emerging technologies, bringing together academic and industry experts from around the world to discuss the latest innovations and future challenges.
