Meeting LTTA2 (2nd Learning Teaching Training Activities) of the Build 2050 project
The Department of Energy of Politecnico di Milano recently hosted the LTTA2 meeting of the European project Build 2050. This project, funded by the Erasmus+ programme, aims to improve the construction and management of sustainable, comfortable and healthy buildings at European level.
The meeting was attended by representatives of research institutes and universities from Italy, Greece, Germany, Poland and Portugal.
During the three-day workshop, the participants worked on some of the objectives of the project, i.e.: discussed the contents of the e-book to be published by the project, shared the European Build 2050 platform and developed the structure of the European Training Guide. The programme also included a visit to our laboratories, allowing participants to see our state-of-the-art facilities and technologies up close:
- Building Thermophysics Lab with Prof. Adriana Angelotti and Andrea Alongi
- Air Lab with Prof. Francesco Romano
- Relab with Rossano Scoccia
- VeluxLab with Grazia Marrone.
Rossano Scoccia, the Department of Energy’s contact person for this research project, said:
We are delighted to have hosted this important meeting. International cooperation is essential to meet future challenges in the field of sustainable buildings.
The Build 2050 project aims to develop transversal skills in the construction sector through integrated and international training. It aims to facilitate the exchange of innovative knowledge between European partners and to promote responses to construction challenges through a dedicated platform. It also aims to create new forms of training with a European training guide.
