Signal analysis and risk analysis (LASAR³)

The LASAR³ group develops methods and models for signal analysis, reliability and risk, with applications in diagnostics, prognostics, maintenance and safety of nuclear and industrial components and systems. Its goal is to identify, model and predict failure behaviour while considering uncertainties to improve design, operations and maintenance through condition-based and predictive approaches.

Activities include studying the vulnerability of critical infrastructures such as power grids, transportation systems and industrial and nuclear facilities, including radioactive waste repositories. The group collaborates with national and international partners to develop innovative solutions and enhance the reliability of complex systems.
