Conducts testing and research on heating terminals (radiators and convectors).
The lab conducts tests in compliance with EN 442 standards and is part of the multi-site LAB No. 00140 at Politecnico di Milano. It is ISO 17025 accredited by ACCREDIA DP and serves as a European reference laboratory for the calibration of facilities performing tests in compliance with the EN 442 standard for radiators and convectors.
The laboratory provides services for the thermal power determination of heating bodies, which are essential for CE marking and continuous improvements in reference standards within the scope of technical committee TC 130.
Services offered:
- Issuance of test reports for radiators and convectors according to EN 442
- Calibration of thermostatic chambers in accordance with EN 442-2:2015
Certifications
- European Reference Laboratory according to EN 442 standards, notified by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy
- Recognised by AFNOR and authorised to operate for the issuance of the NF mark for heating bodies
- Works as European project manager for defining procedures for the calibration of laboratories that will be able to carry out tests for CE marking.
