Rinaldi Fabio
Fabio Rinaldi, born in 1973, has been Full Professor of Technical Physics at Politecnico di Milano since November 2023.
He is responsible for the M.R.T. European Reference Thermostatic Chamber Laboratories, LTT (Thermometric Calibration Laboratory) and Data Optima Lab. The industrial activity carried out in the laboratories is dedicated to testing heating terminals (EN 442:1/2 standard), the calibration of industrial thermometers, including on waste-to-energy plants for the verification of the requirements established by Article 50, Chapter IV of European Directive 2010/75/EU, and the performance testing of waste-fired thermoelectric power plants, with and without cogeneration.
His research activity is mainly dedicated to the development and validation of physical/data-driven models of complex energy systems.
