Fustinoni Damiano
Research and activities in laboratories
He is part of the “Heat and Mass Transfer (HMT)” research group in the Department of Energy. He conducts research at the ThermALab and FireLab laboratories in the fields of heat transfer, analysis and modelling of the radiative and thermal properties of materials, reaction to fire and fire modelling. He also carries out experimental measurements in the field of thermofluid dynamics using non-invasive optical techniques, including IR thermography. He is the author of more than 40 articles in journals and conference proceedings.
Teaching
He has been involved in teaching support since 2007, currently in Technical Physics courses for mechanical engineering students in the first semester and Energy courses in the second semester.
Consultancy
He has collaborated on research and consultancy contracts in various fields of industrial interest with numerous companies and organisations, including: Enel, Snam, RSE, ESA, UFI filters, Casale SA, NTT Data, Gemateg, ABB, Media Lario, TAG GmbH, Whirlpool, Smeg, Fluid-o-Tech, Ferrari, Essetre, Groppalli, Pensotti, Parà Tempotest, Eurotubi, Spig, Arditi SpA, and Entsorga.
