EspLORE: the extraordinary potential of carbon atomic wires

After five years of work, EspLORE, the project led by professor Carlo S. Casari and funded by a major Consolidator Grant from the European Research Council (ERC), which aimed to study the properties of atomic carbon filaments in order to exploit their potential applications, has come to an end. On this occasion, the magazine Frontiere dedicated an interesting article to the project. Sonia Peggiani, member of the EspLORE team and researcher at the Department, is also the subject of another interview in Frontiere, in which she explains how her love of energy was born and the career path that led her to become a researcher.
