From 9 to 12 September, Gastech 2025 – Exhibition & Conference took place at Fiera Milano, the world’s largest event dedicated to natural gas, LNG, hydrogen, and technologies for the energy transition. The Milan edition brought together over 1,000 speakers and more than 50,000 industry stakeholders, aiming to foster innovation and new strategic partnerships.

Prof. Gianluca Valenti, a faculty member of the Department of Energy at Politecnico di Milano, played a prominent role as moderator of the panel “Attracting the Leaders of Tomorrow, Today” focused on the challenges and opportunities in attracting young talent to the energy sector.

The panel served as a platform for dialogue among young leaders, academia, and industry on how to prepare and nurture the future workforce in a context of rapid technological innovation and global transformations.

The Department’s participation in Gastech 2025 underscores its ongoing commitment to educating qualified professionals and actively contributing to the international debate on the future of energy.
