The Department of Energy in collaboration with the Career Service is organising a round table on 18 September 2024 from 13:00 to 14:00 on the role of the patent attorney as a possible career outlet for female engineering students at Politecnico di Milano.

The patent attorney advises and collaborates in the drafting of patent documents and the defence of industrial property titles.

Why is industrial property so important? How can an engineer approach this field and what specific skills are required to provide technical assistance to clients?

During the event, these topics will be explored in depth together with experts from the Order of Industrial Property Consultants. Participants will thus be able to meet and discuss with experts in the field.

The panel discussion will conclude with the presentation of internship opportunities at the Institute of Industrial Property Consultants and a networking moment accompanied by a light lunch.
