Francesco Di Maio elected Chair of the IEEE Reliability Society Italy Chapter
Prof. Francesco Di Maio, a faculty member of the Department of Energy at Politecnico di Milano, has been elected Chair of the IEEE Reliability Society Italy Chapter, the Italian chapter of the IEEE Reliability Society, for the term of office established by the newly appointed Executive Committee.
The IEEE Reliability Society is the IEEE society dedicated to promoting research and innovation in the fields of reliability, safety, maintenance, and risk management of complex systems. Through conferences, educational activities, and networking initiatives, the Society fosters dialogue between academia and industry on strategic topics in reliability and safety engineering.
In his role as Chair of the Italy Chapter, Prof. Di Maio will coordinate the activities of the Italian Reliability Society community, promoting scientific initiatives, technical events, and opportunities for collaboration among researchers, professionals, and companies.
This election represents an important recognition of his scientific expertise and of the contribution of the Department of Energy at Politecnico di Milano to the advancement of international research in the fields of reliability, safety, and risk management of complex systems.
