Federico Pedranzini, researcher at the Department of Energy of Politecnico di Milano, has been awarded the “Roberto Sanguineti 2022” prize by Aicarr (Italian Association for Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration) for his paper entitled “HVAC systems and SARS-CoV-2, do we need to rethink design?”

The award ceremony will take place on 29 June during the 38th AiCARR National Congress at the MCE Fieramilano Rho.

The biennial award was created in 1996 to recognise the best paper on air conditioning, heating and refrigeration published in the association’s official journal.
