Trade Marks and Designs: An In-Depth Analysis of European Case Law

European case law on trade marks and designs provides an important guide to applying and interpreting European laws on these issues, setting precedents, clarifying crucial legal aspects and creating consistency in regulations.

For this reason, the Department of Energy is organising an open lecture on 27 March 2025 (14:15-17:30) entitled Analytical and Critical Review of European Case Law on Trade Marks and Designs. The speaker of the event will be Avv. Giovanni Casucci, an expert in the legal field of intellectual property. During the meeting, Mr. Casucci will present and comment on a selection of important European legal cases. It will be an opportunity to reflect on the positive and critical aspects of national and EU case law developments in this field, analysing the practical and legal implications for businesses and professionals.

The event is open to all and represents an opportunity to explore relevant topics in the European legal landscape, particularly useful for those working in the field of industrial law and intellectual property protection.

Accreditation to the Order of Industrial Property Consultants has been requested.

The open lecture will be held in presence at the Department of Energy premises in Via Lambruschini 4, Building BL25, Milan and online via the Microsoft Teams platform.

Participation is free of charge, after registering for the event here.
