Sophie Deanesi awarded at the European Nuclear Education Network Summer School

Sophie Deanesi, a PhD student in Energy and Nuclear Science and Technology (STEN), was among the winners in the “Nuclear Energy” category at the “1st ENEN BSc. and MSc. Nuclear Competition and Summer School” organised by the European Nuclear Education Network (ENEN).
During the competition, Sophie presented her Master’s thesis entitled ‘Multiphysics Analysis of Accidental Transients for a Molten Salt Fast Reactor’ to a distinguished international jury. His thesis project was developed at the Department of Energy of Politecnico di Milano under the supervision of Prof. Stefano Lorenzi as supervisor and Prof. Antonio Cammi as co-rapporteur.
The award ceremony took place at the Slovenská technická univerzita in Bratislava, where Sophie also had the opportunity to participate in important training events through lectures and workshops.
I am so honoured to have received this award. It was an incredible experience to present my thesis to such a qualified jury and to participate in high level lectures and practical sessions,
