These courses lead to the acquisition, development and updating of knowledge and to technological, managerial, operational and regulatory expertise.

In response to the specific needs of Companies, Bodies and Institutions, the Department can structure tailored paths, based on a careful analysis of the training needs of the company, in relation to the market environment in which it operates.

Patent Course POLIMI-IP
The POLIMI IP 2019/2020 PATENTS course, now in its 7th edition, aims to prepare for the patent licensing exam and to provide an opportunity for professionals to be updated. The seventh edition will begin on 6 November 2019.

Trademark Course POLIMI-IP
The Industrial Property - Trademark Course of the Polytechnic of Milan, now in its 6th edition, aims to prepare for the certification exam and to provide an opportunity for professionals to upgrade (course ISO 9001:2015 certified by the third party body Italcert).The 6th edition will start in October 2020

Industrial Property Course - Patents 2020 Edition

The 2020 edition of the Industrial Property Course – Patents (Corso di Proprietà Industriale – Brevetti), organized by the University Politecnico di Milano, is aimed at providing a professional training in the IP field, with a specific focus on the Unitary Patent and the Unified Patent Court. The course is in English.

Basic Course on Technologies and Procedures for White Rooms
The Course allows to understand why and how contaminants are controlled in a clean room so that the personnel who work there or who deal with the technologies used in these environments know how to behave and which methods and procedures should be used to measure, to prevent and minimize contamination levels. The 18th edition will take place from 24 to 25 September 2019.

Advanced Test and Qualification Course for White Rooms
The course is addressed to operators who already have a good knowledge of the technologies of controlled contamination environments, and to those who usually work in the field of verifications. The main objective is to show the routine tests carried out in controlled contamination environments, attesting the participants' abilities through practical tests.

Ram & Phm 4.0 Course: Advanced methods for Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Prognostics and Health Management of industrial equipment
In recent years, the volume of data and information available in the sector has grown exponentially and analytical tools have been developed to exploit them. This situation offers great opportunities for the production of optimized, safe and reliable products, including optimal predictive maintenance for "zero defect" production with reduced inventory costs and improved system availability with "zero unplanned shutdowns". The objective of this course is to provide participants with advanced methodological skills, analytical skills and computational tools necessary to operate effectively in the areas of reliability, availability, maintainability, diagnostics and prognosis of industrial equipment. The course is entirely delivered in English.

Course Environmental conflicts prevention and management with collaborative tools
The course aims to provide the necessary tools to prevent and manage conflicts concerning the environment, which is a widespread legal, technical, social and cultural phenomenon.
