Speakers at the event will include Mario Motta, Rector’s Delegate for Energy Transition at Politecnico di Milano and Lecturer in Technical Environmental Physics at the Department of Energy, and Annalidia Pansini, Senior Policy Advisor for Decarbonisation and Climate Change at the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security. We will talk about the proposed update of the National Integrated Energy and Climate Plan (PNIEC), which will be sent to the European Commission in June 2023. The PNIEC is developed by defining objectives, pathways and measures for the five dimensions of the Energy Union (decarbonisation, energy efficiency, energy security, internal energy market and research). In particular, the role of the PNIEC in the decarbonisation process of the Italian economy will be discussed.

It will be possible to attend the event in person at the Department  of Energy of the Politecnico di Milano (Building BL25, Room 012, via Raffaele Lambruschini 4/a, 20156 Milan) or online via live streaming on Microsoft Teams.
