Facibeni Anna

EDUCATION
1991 7th Level Technician Competition.
1991 Course in Radioisotopic Techniques at the Department of Nuclear Engineering.
1990 State examination with qualification as a chemist.
1989/90 Degree in Chemistry from the University of Genoa with a grade of 104/110.
1982 Diploma of Scientific Maturity.

MAIN TASKS
Experience at the Radiochemistry laboratory allowed to improve the ability to synthesize organic complexes with transition metals, and to become familiar with complex instrumentation such as time chains, germanium detectors. Isotopic marking techniques were also introduced in this area.
Current employment in the Materials Laboratory has allowed to deepen knowledge on Raman Spectroscopy , already existing, and to learn other techniques such as Brillouin Spectroscopy.
He has developed knowledge on the use of Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM).
Chemistry training has also expanded the research possibilities of the laboratory, such as in the field of colloidal chemistry.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES
April 1991-Present Politecnico di Milano
June 1999-Present Materials Laboratory of the Department of Energy
April 1991-June 1999
June-July 1986 Internship at 3M-Italia Ricerche in Ferrania (Savona) at the “Organic Synthesis R&D – Copulants” laboratory.
Experience in the field of nanostructured materials allowed to take part in research projects such as NETeX – NanoEngineered Textile (2006-2008) of the Lombardy Region.
He has collaborated with several companies such as Comofil, Gloriamed, Tessilbrenta, Cadica, Blue Think and with research institutions such as the Silk Experimental Station.
