Carlo Giorgio Visconti is a Full Professor of Chemical Technologies at Politecnico di Milano, where he carries out research and teaching activities in the field of chemical engineering and industrial chemical processes. His scientific interests focus in particular on heterogeneous catalysis, the development of intensified catalytic processes, the synthesis of sustainable fuels and chemicals, and, more generally, on catalytic technologies for energy and the environment.
He is the author of numerous scientific publications in international journals and is actively involved in national and international research projects, often in collaboration with industrial partners. At Politecnico di Milano, he contributes to the education of undergraduate and PhD students, combining a solid theoretical background with a strong focus on industrial applications and technological innovation.
