Colombo Luigi Pietro Maria
After a degree in Electronic Engineering, Biomedical specialization, obtained at Politecnico di Milano, I had the opportunity to broaden my horizons with a PhD in Energetics, which reoriented my interests. Today, my skills concern fluid dynamics and heat transfer, specifically, the experimental characterization of two-phase liquid-liquid, liquid-gas, liquid-vapour flows. I teach engineering thermodynamics and thermo-fluid dynamics, preferably writing on slate blackboards with chalk of various colors. On the institutional front, I coordinated the Energy Engineering program and subsequently the Ph.D. program in Energy and Nuclear Science and Technology. I am currently the Vice Rector for the Piacenza Campus of Politecnico di Milano.
