Shendrikova Diana
Diana Shendrikova holds a PhD in History of International Relations and Political Science from Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. She is a Science Diplomacy advisor to UNESCO CHAIR in Energy for Sustainable Development at Politecnico di Milano. She is also a Faculty member of ISPI Executive Master in Geopolitics of Energy. Diana previously conducted research at ISPI (Italian Institute for International Political Studies), contributing to the ISPI Energy Watch, and served as a researcher and senior consultant at FEEM (Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei), worked in sustainability consultancy company for several years and in a UK-based energy service provider company Petrofac Ltd. She is awardee of various international grants and scholarships, including from European Commission and Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). Over the course of her academic career, she has carried out research projects across Italy, Japan, Russia, and Ghana. She was a Project Manager of the Erasmus + project AMBITION (AMBassadors for Sustainable TransiTION), coordinated by Politecnico di Milano within IDEA League Universities network. Her research interests and expertise focus on international relations, geopolitics of energy, energy policy, international political economy and science diplomacy.
