Hamed Jafari Kaleybar, born in 1989, is an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at the Department of Energy, Politecnico di Milano. He obtained his M.S. degree with honors in electrical engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology in 2013 and earned a Ph.D. with honors in 2019 from a joint program between Politecnico di Milano and Sahand University of Technology. From 2019 to 2022, he served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Energy Department, Politecnico di Milano.  His research activities include electric transportation systems, electric railway, power quality control techniques, smart grids, renewable energy sources, digital twin, and power electronics converters. He is a member of the CIFI (Italian Group of Engineering about Railways) and actively contributes to industry-related research having and actively contributed to industry-related research, having served as an R&D researcher at Niroo Research Institute and Iran Railways Company. Additionally, he plays a vital role in IEEE conferences and journals, serving on the advisory and organizing committee and acting as chairman of sections. He is further recognized for his significant contributions as a member of the reviewing panel for prestigious journals including IEEE Transactions, Elsevier, and IET, highlighting his commitment to advancing scholarly research in the field of electrical engineering.
