Prof. Enrico Zio, lecturer of the ‘Reliability Engineering and Quantitative Risk Analysis A+B’, ‘Resilience and Security of Critical Infrastructures’ and ‘Safety in Mobility’ courses at the Department of Energy, was awarded the Society for Reliability and Safety (SRESA) Lifetime Achievement Award for his important contributions in the field of risk assessment and reliability of engineering systems.
At the RAMS 2024 (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) Conference, one of the most renowned in the industry, which took place in Albuquerque, USA, Prof. Enrico Zio received the Alan O. Plait Award for the Tutorial entitled ‘Data Driven PHM for Predictive Maintenance of Industrial Components and Systems.
