NanoLab Talks at the Department of Energy: a series celebrating research and innovation

In 2025, the Department of Energy hosted the NanoLab Talks, a seminar series organized by the NanoLab research group on micro- and nanostructured materials, with the aim of promoting cutting-edge research, interdisciplinary dialogue, and networking among students, faculty, and researchers. The program included several events covering topics ranging from nanoscience and materials chemistry to energy-related applications, with contributions from national and international experts. Among the seminars, topics such as Raman spectroscopy, the chemistry of two-dimensional materials, π-stacking interactions in DNA, and scanning tunneling microscopy were addressed. Active participation and lively discussions highlighted the importance of a format centered on research quality, knowledge sharing, and scientific collaboration. NanoLab thus reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing researchers’ work and strengthening the scientific community, thanks also to the contribution of the organizing team, which made this experience engaging and accessible to the entire Politecnico community.
