Baricci Andrea
Andrea Baricci, born in 1985, is Associate Professor of Thermal Engineering and Environmental Technologies at Politecnico di Milano. He graduated with honors in Energy Engineering in 2010 and completed his Ph.D. in Nuclear and Energy Science and Technology in 2015. Andrea Baricci has been lecturer in courses of Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer for engineering since 2016 and in courses of Electrochemical Energy Conversion and Storage since 2018. Andrea’s research focuses on experimental analysis of electrochemical hydrogen conversion systems, in particular polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells, with a particular emphasis on material degradation and diagnosis by advanced techniques combined with physics-based modelling. Andrea’s activities are inserted in the framework of the MRT Fuel Cell & Battery group and participated in European and national research projects in collaboration with renowned research institutes, academia and industry at international level.
