Perini Roberto
Roberto Perini has been Associate Professor of Electrical Machines and Power Electronics at Politecnico di Milano since 2011. His research activity has developed on electrical machines and some applications of power electronics. In particular: electrical microgrids supplied by electronic converters and synthetic inertia; torsional vibrations in electrical machines due to the electronic converter; Doubly Fed Induction Machines and sensorless control; model and design of low power electrical motors (e.g. universal motors, vibration pumps, low power permanent magnet synchronous machines, single-phase capacitor induction motors); thermal models of rotating electrical machines; model, design and test of innovative permanent magnet synchronous machines with a tooth-coil winding. He has taken part to several projects with companies both as a PI and as a CI, and to a H2020 project as a CI. Since 2020 he has been Coordinator for the Erasmus+ Program for the Electrical Engineering Degree.
Education
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Politecnico di Milano, 1991.
Ph.D in Electrical Engineering, Politecnico di Milano, 1997.
