Valenti Gianluca
Passionate about innovation in industry, Gianluca Valenti is an Associate Professor in the Department of Energy at Politecnico di Milano, where he conducts both numerical and experimental studies in the field of industrial processes and fluid machinery, with a particular focus on hydrogen technologies. He is the author of over 80 publications, as well as the inventor of five granted patents and two patent applications. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering (’02) and a PhD in Energy Engineering (’06) from Politecnico, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago (’01) and a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Stanford University (’05). From 2012 to 2021, he was a member of the technical committee for the energy sector at the Skolkovo Innovation Centre. Since the beginning of 2020, he has been the Rector’s Delegate for International Relations with North America. Finally, he has been co-founder of a small innovative company in the clean technology sector since 2013.
