Bortot Davide
Davide Bortot is an Associate Professor of Nuclear Measurement and Instrumentation at Politecnico di Milano, Italy. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physics Engineering in 2009 and his Master’s degree with honors in Nuclear Engineering in 2012, both from Politecnico di Milano. In 2016, he completed his Ph.D. with honors in Energy and Nuclear Science and Technology. Since 2012, he has been actively engaged in research, focusing on dosimetry, gas and solid-state microdosimetry, and nanodosimetry of complex radiation fields, as well as on the quality assessment of primary and secondary particle fields of hadrontherapy. His expertise extends to neutron and gamma spectrometry and to the commissioning and decommissioning of medical cyclotrons. Since 2012, he has been affiliated with the Italian National Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN). Davide Bortot is a member of the Ph.D. Council in Energy and Nuclear Science and Technology at Politecnico di Milano.
